Privacy Policy — Greenlog SEO Automation
Last updated: June 5, 2026
This privacy policy applies to the Greenlog SEO Automation WordPress plugin and the Greenlog external service it connects to (accessible at suite.greenlog.fr).
1. What data is collected and sent to the Greenlog service
When you install and use the Greenlog SEO Automation plugin, the following data may be sent to the Greenlog service:
Authentication & connection
Your site URL / domain, your Greenlog API key (connection token), and generation parameters are transmitted to authenticate your WordPress site with the Greenlog service.
Generation & publishing workflows
When you use the article generation or automatic publishing features, the following data is sent: article title, topic, keyword, and the generated content produced by the workflow. This data is required to create and publish articles on your site.
Job & publication status
The plugin reports job status and publication status to the Greenlog service in order to synchronise generation progress and results.
Content inventory (manual sync)
When you manually trigger a content inventory sync, the plugin sends content metadata for your published posts: post_id, post_type, post_status, title, url, published_at, modified_at. Full article content is never sent during a content inventory sync — only metadata.
2. How this data is used
Data transmitted to the Greenlog service is used exclusively to:
- Authenticate and authorise your WordPress site to use the Greenlog SaaS features.
- Generate SEO-optimised articles based on your instructions.
- Publish or schedule articles on your WordPress site.
- Display and manage your content inventory within the Greenlog Suite dashboard.
Your data is not sold to third parties and is not used for advertising purposes.
3. Data retention
Data associated with your account is retained as long as your Greenlog account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the address below.
4. Security
All communications between your WordPress site and the Greenlog service are made over HTTPS. API keys are stored encrypted in the WordPress options table.
5. Third-party services
The Greenlog service may use AI generation APIs (such as OpenAI or equivalent) to produce article content. Content sent for generation is subject to the terms and privacy policies of those providers.
